TLC’s Extreme Couponing Season Premier Tonight. Will The Fraud Continue?

Tonight is the season 3 premier of “Extreme Couponing” on TLC. Personally, I really just don’t feel this show depicts the “real” side of couponing but it’s still entertaining.

So I am watching the second 30 minute segment titled “Cole & Angelique“. Last month I reported on a fraudulent Quilted Northern coupon and what do I see BOTH of these people getting but the 18 roll Quilted Northern. I actually contacted the product manufacturer so if you want to know more then please go to our Coupon Fraud alerts. Here is a picture of that fraudulent coupon…..

FRAUDULENT Quilted Northern coupon

So the answer to the question posed by this posts title is YES; the fraud continues but I guess it makes for good TV….. You will need to check your local listings for the show time but the show is airing on Monday’s now!

Welcome to Coupon Cutz!

First, I would like to welcome you. If you are here then you are either interested in getting started with couponing or you need help getting organized and maximizing your savings. Like you, I too needed help at one point and I am averaging about a 50% savings at most stores these days.

I would like to say something about the television shows which are so popular these days: do not expect to get everything for free; not in Arizona anyway. The shows depict couponing in a light which, in all honesty, isn’t true for those of us in Arizona. If you’ve ever tried to use 15 of the same coupons at your local Fry’s you know they have a limit on the number which you can use per transaction.

My aim is to get you organized but to also show you the realistic side of couponing. The television shows are great for entertainment but they simply aren’t a true depiction of the couponing experience. Don’t have unrealistic expectations and you will do just fine.
